Monochrome Operahouse

The Operahouse in Oslo opened in april last year. Since then, thousands and thousens of people have visited. Not only for a performance - or a consert. But also just for a walk at the Operahouse roof. Those pictures are from our last bycycletrip in Oslo in the midle of September.

If you like to see some of my Operahouse-pictures from last year, please click here. And if you like to meet other Monochrome maniacs, please visit Ailenis Monochrome Weekly blog.

What a beautiful building. At first it reminded me of an airport, especially the one with all the ppl walking.

Fantastic firs picture!!!
I love it.
What happens if you cut a little more in the bottom?

Stunning pictures!

Thorgun: I have tryed that, but the picture kind of lost something that way. I would like the boys feet a bit more to the right, but I couldn`t stop him and ask: Exuse me - could you plase walk over the bridge again so I could have my picture right.. ;))

Great sequence - first one is best for me. Simple and elegant and posing a question. Lovely detail in the shoe and a great depth of field. Nice!

Wow, these are great photographs and what a beautiful Opera House.

The first photo in your wonderful series is very dramatic! How did you think to even get that perspective. Well done! I was by earlier but couldn't seem to leave my comment. Must have been doing something wrong.

stunners all!
superb!

That place must be a photographer's dream! I love this sequence. The first is my favourite, and then the fourth, but each one would be a favourite if I saw them alone. Excellent!

Lucy Corrander said...

How wonderfully dramatic are all your pictures.

I too like to take photos from ground level. It's one way photographers can contribute to the world - seeing it from a different angle. We have an excuse for crawling around the pavement without anyone thinking we are (too) odd!
