PhotoHunt - thankful - for full tank...

The theme for this week`s PhotoHunt is thankful. The Norwegian people are pleased and thankful to hear "full tank, please!" We found oil in 1968, and thanks to that Norway today is one of the richest countryes in the world. I am thankful to live in this beautiful country, which is rich of soo much more than the oil.

I`m in love with THIS FAIRYTALE (link). Alexander Rybak will represent Norway in Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow this year - and we all love him. This is my tribute to him, and I whish him all the best in Moscow!

My world

My husbond and I live in the south of Norway, but I am proud to say that I was born in the north of Norway. The pictures in this post were taken in Nyksund. Nyksund is not my childhood town, but anyway - I would like to show you this desolatet and beautiful place far up north. In former times Nyksund was a booming fishing village. Nowadays there are only a handfull of people living here.

Can you see the ghost in the window?? Lol - it`s only me :)

This is one of my favourite places on earth: Hvalstrand beach in Asker. A few years ago it was electet as the best beach in Norway - and it really is. Wanna come for a swim?

You might meet Jenny behind this door. Jenny is dressed in grey - always. That`s why they call her "The Grey Lady". Jenny died 250 years ago, but she never quite left this house at Gulskogen Farm in Drammen. Just open the door - I belive Jenny is home....
